Three steps to connect it

In the Teams channel open ⋯ → Workflows and pick the “Post to a channel when a webhook request is received” template.
Finish the wizard and copy the generated URL.
In Notify add a Microsoft Teams channel, paste the URL and send a test message.

Microsoft is retiring the classic Office 365 connectors, so Notify targets Workflows, which stay supported.

What arrives in Microsoft Teams

New order

Number, amount and currency, item count, payment, shipping, status and a link to the administration.

Status change

From which status to which. Each transition only once, even if the CMS sends the event multiple times.

Cancellation

As soon as the order moves to a cancelled status. We subtract it from daily revenue.

Unpaid after X hours

Online payments only. You set the number of hours, default 3. If the customer pays in the meantime, no message is sent.

Daily summary

Order count, revenue, average order and a comparison with the same day last week. You choose the time.

Common questions

How long does setup take?

Connecting Microsoft Teams takes a few minutes. Nothing is injected into the shop template and nothing needs to be coded.

Does Notify see my customers’ data?

From an order we read the number, total, item count, payment, shipping and status. The customer name appears in a message only if you switch it on for that channel, and even then we do not store it.

Can I run Microsoft Teams alongside other channels?

Yes. One shop can have up to three active channels at once, each with its own selection of events.
